It’s the slip rating. R10 suits normal indoor floors.
3–12 months, depending on how many people walk over them.
Smooth, sealed hard floors: tiles, vinyl, sealed concrete and laminate. Not carpet.

Clean and dry the floor, squeegee them down, and keep foot traffic off for an hour or two.
