When Tesco’s Kensington store was wrapped in scaffold for cladding works, the store stayed open. We printed 14 high-level banners from Tesco’s scaffolding plan, an 85m run at 3m high, and turned the job around in two days.

The brief

Tesco’s Kensington store was staying open while the whole building was wrapped in scaffold for cladding works. Tesco needed the scaffold dressed with its own branding and bold “We’re open” messaging, so shoppers passing on a busy London road could see the store was trading as normal.

What we did

We were supplied with Tesco’s scaffolding banner plan, drawn at 50% scale, with the instruction that the supplier confirm the sizes and adjust the artwork before production. We checked every size and adjusted the artwork to fit the real scaffold. Then we printed and finished all 14 banners in our own workshop, and had them ready in two days, supplied ready for the scaffolders to fit.

The result

A continuous 85-metre run of Tesco branding and fresh-produce “We’re open” banners along the length of the building, matching Tesco’s brand guidelines and the approved plan, delivered in two days.
